Advancing Sustainability through Collaboration in the LIMES Cluster!

OPeraTIC organized two internal online meetings on 14 and 28 January 2026, convening sustainability experts from several projects within the LIMES Cluster to strengthen cross-project collaboration. During these sessions, sustainability experts from seven projects, OPeraTIC, METAMORPHA, GlobalAM, BILASURF, LASERWAY, WAVETAILOR and OPTIMAL, presented their ongoing sustainability-related activities.

The discussions explored strategies for sustainability collaboration, emphasizing common challenges and opportunities across laser-based manufacturing projects. Participants concluded that joint conference participation and co-authored papers are key strategies for maximizing impact and advancing sustainability goals together.
